Technically this is part of an ongoing series related to the Winter Olympics, but today’s Google Doodle gives a festive nod to the lunar Year of the Dog, which begins today. It’s short and sweet: a procession of animals in the correct zodiac order (monkey, chicken, dog) pass by on a ski lift, and some fireworks go off as the dog has its day. The hipster ski pig behind the dog doesn’t look too impressed, but its year will come soon enough.
